By Hiring a Retail Veteran Adding New Skills to Its Rapidly Growing Team

NEWS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Chicago, IL, January 11, 2022—BERING MCKINLEY (BMK), a business consulting firm that helps managed service providers (MSPs) and managed print partners around the globe find a path to profitability, announces its decision to name Duffy Guschel as its new Chief Operations Officer.

Guschel joins the Bering McKinley team with a long history of business ownership, retail management, regional directorship, and consulting experience intended to build on the Bering McKinley ConnectWise, business, sales, service, and financial consulting services, certification training, and industry peer team offerings.

“We wanted to go outside the industry to tap into a different set of skills that would enhance and better serve our rapid internal expansion. No other industry knows how to improve on the customer experience like retail. Many MSP consulting firms are made up of industry leaders who struggle to build fiscal and structural processes around their expertise,” says CEO and founder Josh Peterson. “We want to enhance our internal skillset and then be able to share what we learn with those in our client community.”

Guschel is responsible for three essential objectives:

  •  Fiscal responsibility and financial controls, delivering revue and profitable growth.
  • Structure and process to allow consistent growth while maintaining excellence in operational execution.
  • Client experience promotes a strong sense of loyalty, high levels of satisfaction (NPS), and retention.

Bering McKinley is poised to grow 30% over the next year and plans to leverage the talents of its internal team to build on that growth.
